Privacy policy

Draft, last updated 31 October 2026.

This is an MVP draft and will be replaced by a reviewed policy.

What we collect

  • Account data. Your email address, and the optional profile details you choose to add (display name, handle, company, bio, links). Your public handle, name, company, bio and links appear on your author page.
  • Login. We sign you in with a one-time code sent by email. We store a hash of the code briefly, and a session cookie keeps you signed in. There are no passwords.
  • Ratings, reviews and skills you submit, which are public with your display name.
  • Download counts. To count unique downloads and stop inflated numbers, we store a one-way hash of your IP address mixed with a daily salt. We do not store your IP address. The hash changes every day, so it cannot be used to follow you over time.
  • Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate, cookie-free traffic and performance statistics.

How we use it

To run the site: sign you in, show your public profile and contributions, rank skills, prevent abuse and improve performance. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who processes it

The site runs on Vercel (hosting, analytics and file storage), Neon (database) and Resend (login emails). They process data on our behalf.

Your choices

You can edit your profile in your account. To have your account and personal data deleted, contact us via the About page. Published skills and reviews may be kept in anonymized form where others depend on them.

Cookies

We set a session cookie when you sign in and remember your light or dark theme in your browser. Nothing else is stored.

Changes

We will update this page when practices change; the date above shows the latest version. See also the Terms of use.
